How to Get iCloud Mail on iPhone?
iCloud is a free email service that offers 5GB storage space. You can configure your iCloud account with Apple’s Mail on a Mac or iOS device. To know how to get iCloud email account on your iPhone, follow the simple step-by-step instructions given below.
- Launch the Settings application on your iPhone.
- Tap on the Passwords & Accounts option.
- Now, the Passwords & Accounts window will open.
- Tap the Add Account option.
- Now, a list of email service provider’s icon will appear on the screen.
- Select the iCloud option by tapping the radio button beside it.
- Enter your iCloud account credentials in the available text fields.
- Tap the Next button.
- Now, a window displaying the Terms and Conditions will open.
- Read and accept it by tapping the Agree button.
- Make sure to enable the Mail switch option by tapping the toggle icon beside it.
- Tap the Create button when prompted.
- Enter the email address and tap the Next button.
- Verify your iCloud account details and tap the Done button followed by Save.
- Note: The account details can’t be changed once it is created.
- If the iCloud option is not displayed on the Add Account screen, select the Other option.
- Now, you will be asked to enter your email account credentials.
- Enter the credentials in the given fields.
- Perform the on-screen instructions.
- Now, check if your iCloud account is configured correctly or not and then check whether the Push option is working.
- To do it, open the iCloud email account.
- Compose an email message and sent it to your email account.
- If the Push option is not working, then it might be disabled.
- Enable it by following the instructions given below.
- For iOS 10 users: On your iPhone device’s Settings section, tap Mail > Accounts > Fetch New Data > Push.
- For iOS 9 and earlier users: Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts. And Calendars > Fetch New Data > Push.
- Now, check if the Push option is working.
