Cox Email Settings For Iphone is an email service provider that allows you to access your Cox email account either using its web-based access page or an email client. It uses the IMAP and SMTP protocols to send and receive emails. Similar to other email accounts, you can set up this email account with any email client.   1. Initially, check to make sure that your iPhone is connected to the Internet either via mobile network or Wi-Fi.
  2. Next, open your iPhone’s Settings screen and tap on the Mail, Contacts, and Calendars option.
  3. In the opened window, tap on the Add Account option.
  4. Now, a screen displaying the list of email service provider icons will open.
  5. If the email icon is displayed, then tap on it. Otherwise, tap on the Other option.
  6. Select the Add Mail Account option.
  7. Now, in the opened window, type the name, username, and password of your account. If necessary, type a short description of your account in the Description field.
  8. Tap Next.
  9. In the next window, choose the Incoming server type as IMAP.
  10. Type your Cox email account’s incoming (IMAP) server address, username, and password in the given fields as mentioned below.
  11. Hostname

  13. Password Your account password
  14. Similarly, type your account’s SMTP server settings in the given fields.
  15. Hostname

  17. Password Your account password
  18. Tap Save.
  19. Now, return to the Settings screen.
  20. Check if the Cox account that you have added is listed. If yes, tap on it. Otherwise, reconfigure the account.
  21. Now, go to your account’s Incoming settings section and type the following information:
  22. SSL Yes, required
  23. Authentication Password
  24. Port: 993
  25. Similarly, go to the Outgoing settings section, type the SMTP server settings:
  26. SSL Yes, required
  27. Authentication Password
  28. Port: 587
  29. Tap Done -> Finish.

Now, send a test email to check whether the email is configured correctly on your iPhone.
