ATT YAHOO EMAIL SETTINGS FOR OUTLOOK
AT&T Yahoo email is one of the email services provided by Yahoo. The AT&T Yahoo email settings for Outlook include both incoming (POP3/IMAP) and outgoing mail server (SMTP) protocols. You can configure ATT Yahoo Email Settings for Outlook using the below settings.

- Incoming mail server (POP): pop.att.yahoo.com
- Server port number: 995
- Server type: SSL
- Incoming mail server (IMAP): imap.att.yahoo.com
- Server port number: 993
- Server type: SSL

Steps to configure AT&T Yahoo email settings in Outlook 2016:
- On your Windows computer, launch the Outlook app by double-clicking its shortcut icon on the desktop.
- In the Outlook main window, click the File tab at the top-left corner.
- Navigate to the left-side panel and select the Info tab.
- Click the Add Account button below Account Information.
- On the Auto Account Setup page, select the Manual setup or additional server types option and click Next to set up the AT&T Yahoo email settings for Outlook manually.
- On the Choose Service screen, select the POP or IMAP option and click Next.
- You should fill in the User Information, Server Information, and Logon Information section with your account details.
- Under the User Information section, give a name for your AT&T Yahoo email in the Your Name field. This will be viewed by your recipients when they get emails from your account.
- In the Email Address field, enter your AT&T Yahoo email address.
- Under Server Information, select IMAP or POP3 as your account type from the drop-down menu.
- Input the incoming and outgoing mail server names in the required fields.
- For POP, enter ‘pop.att.yahoo.com’ in the Incoming mail server field.
- For IMAP, input ‘imap.att.yahoo.com’ in the Incoming mail server field.
- In the Outgoing mail server field, enter ‘smtp.att.yahoo.com’ as your outgoing mail server name.
- Below Logon Information, enter your email address and password.
- If necessary, select the Remember password checkbox.
- To configure the internet email server settings, click More Settings.
- In the Outgoing Server tab, select the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires an authentication checkbox.
- Remember to enable the Use same settings as my incoming mail server button.
- To configure the server port numbers, click the Advanced tab. Here you should enter the AT&T Yahoo email settings for Outlook, including the server ports.
- Choose the SSL option from both the Use the following type of encrypted connection drop-down menus.
- Input the incoming mail server port number 993 or 995 in the box next to the Incoming server.
- Input the outgoing mail server port number 465 in the box next to the Outgoing server (SMTP).
- Click OK and return to the POP and IMAP Account Settings page.
- Select Test Account Settings to run the test for verifying the configured email settings.
- Once the test is complete, click Next.
- Click Finish to complete configuring the ATT Yahoo Email Settings for Outlook.
