Aim Mail is a trusted email service that many people use. Aim Mail configuration uses the incoming server (IMAP or POP3) and outgoing server (SMTP). Configuring the Aim mail in email clients saves your time and it is easy to use. Let’s see how to set up the Aim mail email settings in outlook.

AIM EMAIL SETTINGS:

To begin, you need to know the email server details for Aim Mail.

Aim Mail IMAP Settings

Incoming server details (IMAP)

Account name- IMAP

Server – imap.aim.com

Port – 993

Security – SSL / TLS

Username – your Aim Mail EMAIL address

Password – your Aim Mail password

SSL / TLS authentication – Yes

Outgoing server details (SMTP)

Server – smtp.aim.com

Port – 587

Security – SSL / TLS

Username – your Aim Mail EMAIL address

Password – your Aim Mail password

SSL / TLS authentication – Yes

Aim Mail POP Settings

Incoming server details (POP)

Account name – POP3

Server – pop.aim.com

Port – 995

Security – SSL / TLS

Username – your Aim Mail EMAIL address

Password – your Aim Mail password

Authentication – Yes

Outgoing server details (SMTP)

Server – smtp.aim.com

Port – 587 or 465

Security – SSL / TLS

Username – your Aim Mail EMAIL address

Password – your Aim Mail password

Authentication- Yes

Aim Mail email Setup For Outlook:

  1. Open Outlook 2016.
  2. Open the File menu, select Account Settings, and click New.
  3. Select the EMAIL Account in choose service and click Next.
  4. Choose the Manual setup or additional server types option and press Next.
  5. Select IMAP or POP3 and click Next.
  6. Enter the User, Server, and Logon information and click the More Settings button.
  7. In the Outgoing server tab, enable My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  8. Choose Use the same settings as your incoming mail server.
  9. Now, go to the Advanced tab and enter 993 in the Incoming server (IMAP).
  10. Choose SSL as your encrypted connection type from the drop-down menu.
  11. Enter 587 in the box next to Outgoing server (SMTP).
  12. Select TLS as your encrypted connection type.
  13. Click OK –> Next.
  14. After completing the test, click Close –>Finish.
